Michelle helped me find a home in the Santa Barbara/Carpinteria area over a 3-4 month period. She always kept me up to date on listings in the area. After a few offers on homes, an offer was accepted. The other agent wasn't the easiest to work with nor the most forthright, but she always kept her composure (with me and the other agent) and gave me the option several times to back out.Michelle was friendly, easy to work with, patient, and always made herself available. I'd definitely work with her again.

Michelle helped my family find our perfect home! We were first time buyers and met Michelle at an open house. She was so helpful and informative we knew she was the agent for us. She worked with us for over a year showing us more properties than I can count and submitting 9 offers. We were looking for a house on a tight budget. Michelle helped us land a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home in an amazing neighborhood for less than the price of many 2 bedroom condos. She stuck with us through budget changes, offer frustrstions and a pregnancy. She got us in a house 3 weeks before our 3 child was born. Escrow closed in under 30 days. Working with Michelle was a great experience. It took nearly a year for me to find the right home for me, and during that time she patiently showed me one property after another. Michelle helped me identify and prioritize what I wanted in a home – what I truly wanted and what I would prefer but could live without. For every property she showed me, she carefully explained how each home met or did not meet my specific wish list. At no point did I ever feel that she was attempting to sell me on something that might not suit my wants or needs. Michelle is very familiar with the Santa Barbara area and all the different neighborhoods and school districts. She was proactive in helping me search, even finding and showing me properties before they went on the market if she thought I would be interested in them and they were in my price range. And in the end she helped me find a home that is perfect for me. I’m sitting in my new home writing this review and have nothing but good things to say about Michelle.

As our realtor, Michelle listened to us, used her expertise of the local real estate market, and showed us perfect homes that fit our desires. As first-time homebuyers, Michelle expertly guided us through placing offers on houses, negotiating with sellers, and closing on a house. Beyond the purchase of a house, Michelle has helped us with lining up excellent and reliable contractors who have helped us renovate our new home. Although we initially met Michelle as our realtor, we now call her our friend and look forward to catching up with her on a weekly basis. We cannot recommend anyone more highly. We were new to CA but Michelle was knowledgeable about every neighborhood we were interested in and provided thoughtful insight and feedback about homes, schools, everything. Before working with Michelle I thought a realtor was an agent who showed you properties, negotiated the best price and then followed up with all the paperwork. I even thought I could find a property on my own but after working with Michelle I know a great realtor can find properties that you would probably overlook on your own and provide resources that leverage your money. As a first time home buyer I had some unrealistic expectations of what I wanted. Michelle educated me on all the important elements that give real estate its value in Santa Barbara and to live here I had to make some sacrifices. She patiently showed me all the properties that I wanted to see but steered me to a property that I had already passed up. Once she gave me insight as to how I could remodel and get the look I wanted, I realized she found the perfect home for me. Even though this was my first home purchase I had experience buying investment property and was prepared for the problems and delays in escrow and remodeling. I can't say enough about Michelle's advice and hard work starting with her referral to a lender that was able to give me a better rate then I thought possible and negotiating an accepted offer below asking to providing a list of A-grade contractors . Throughout the entire transaction she was able to keep me informed of the progress and proactive in all the requirements that enabled us to close in 32 days. This gave me the peace of mind that allowed me to focus on designing my remodel and scheduling contractors.Today, I am enjoying the mountain views that were not shown when I first passed up this property in MLS. Thanks to Michelle I have exactly what I want in a better area then I would have picked on my own. Michelle helped my boyfriend and I find a condo in Goleta and it was such a great experience. We were looking for almost one year and she wasn't even working with us initially but took over for a coworker who was traveling; she was stuck with us and it was a perfect fit! We (I) emailed, texted, called, constantly and she was always there for us. She gave us advice, took us on endless home visits, and never gave up on us. We now have an amazing condo even when we were in a very strict budget; she helped us to make this come to life.
